Risk & Analytics Associate

The Risk & Analytics Associate is responsible for preparing and issuing daily mortgage disclosures, as well as operational reporting and analytics. The Risk & Analytics Associate Associate reports into the Risk Officer.

Responsibilities include sending Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures, as well as sending updated disclosures when there has been a change of loan circumstances. Working with the Risk Officer, the role is also responsible for creating, managing, and enhancing internal management analytics to help MortgageCountry executives improve operational efficiencies.

About You

  • You are a self-starter who is comfortable in a flexible work environment in a distributed business model.

  • You value a collaborative, team-oriented environment and desire hands-on mentorship.

  • You seek opportunities for continuing certification in relevant skillsets (e.g. business analytics, coding).

  • You are a fast learner who can get up to speed on the mortgage origination process. Prior experience in the mortgage industry is a plus.

  • You are extremely detail oriented with an intrinsic desire to get things right and constantly learn and grow.

  • You are adept at influencing colleagues and have experience implementing new ways of working based on analytical reporting.

  • You have experience designing, implementing, and improving management reports using large data sets. Prior experience with reporting and business intelligence tools is a must (Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.).

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Bonus points are given to candidates with a degree in a quantitative discipline.
